Sublimation printing on polyester fabrics

Sublimation printing on polyester fabrics

Sublimation printing is currently a popular and demanded method of transferring images to fabric. This method is based on the thermal transfer method, due to which the brightness of the color is preserved and the durability of the print is guaranteed. The method is used to transfer a pattern to clothing and directly to fabric, as well as for the manufacture of various textiles.

Printing is carried out on almost all types of fabrics, however, high quality printing is guaranteed when using light colored polyester fabric. In particular, gabardine, supplex, soft and many others are suitable for sublimation.

Thermal transfer technology makes it possible to obtain high-quality prints of any complexity, including photographs, graphic elements, patterns and other black-and-white or colorful drawings. The resulting print on fabric is resistant to direct sunlight, temperature and humidity changes, mechanical and other external influences, and also withstands a large number of washes.
Heat treatment ensures the penetration of the dye into the fibers of the fabric, which guarantees the durability of the print, and at the same time preserves the properties of the fabric used.
